LAST DAYS OF ZACHRY ENGINEERING CENTER

I kind of feel like a jerk since this was supposed to go up at least a month ago, and I was too ambitious and didn't get into it. Here's the photos I took, in no particular order. I apologize for the crummy quality of video: my voice sounds terrible on recorded video (and I should know, if you recognize my voice, kudos to you). Pictures are from November 2014. As of January 2015, I've completed a small fraction of what I intend on adding: to keep my bandwidth in check, I've decided to upload the future videos as private videos on YouTube.

Another look at the building. This originally was posted at Brazos Buildings & Businesses.

http://carbon-izer.s3.amazonaws.com/otr/zachry/IMG_1754.JPG - With the renovation, I'm not sure if this statue will stick around. They aren't painfully dated as to be removed at the soonest chance, but it's certainly not "new".

http://carbon-izer.s3.amazonaws.com/otr/zachry/IMG_1755.JPG - I'm almost certain this fountain won't last, though, at least in its current form.

http://carbon-izer.s3.amazonaws.com/otr/zachry/IMG_1756.mov - A video I took of the fountain in action. Warning: this video is pretty big, I'll likely remove it and replace it with a smaller video.

(At this point, I took a video and even talked to people. The reason it's not up is because for some reason my iPhone thought it would be a good idea to take it sideways.)

http://carbon-izer.s3.amazonaws.com/otr/zachry/IMG_1758.JPG - I believe this is the stairwell into the basement. A shame the last one currently didn't work properly--it featured the entrance into the building, glancing around the atrium, looking at an old picture of TAMU on the wall near Einstein Brothers (a fall 2012 addition, replaced Zachry Snackery, which closed around 2008)
