Navasota
I've been TO Navasota only maybe once or twice, as it's usually a place where I pass through and not involve directly. It makes sense--despite a notable collection of people that are associated with Navasota somehow, it's pretty standard for towns of that size--a small grocery store, a small Walmart, a few hotels, a collection of fast foods, most of which are near the highway, and so forth.
- Sgt. Pepperoni's - [Two Way Roads]
- View from Highway 6 - This picture was taken from a car in November 2006. It shows Chevron (sign changed since then), and a McDonald's (since rebuilt).
Houston and Galveston
- H-E-B Pantry - closed in September 2008 after Hurricane Ike hit the island. I took a picture of it in August 2008, and I do remember it from previous trips prior. It opened in 1990 from a closed Safeway (since '87) and is now "Odyssey Academy".
- Northwest Freeway Corridor - Originally a look at some buildings torn down for highway expansion but evolved to something new.
College Station-Bryan
Since this is my hometown, it's arranged a bit differently. Some of the content here is recycled from my other blog, "Brazos Buildings & Businesses" which had a small following but never got to the point that I could do anything with. The only thing I have up yet isn't even complete yet.
